Patrick’s Story

Patrick is a 40-year-old agent from Kampala, Uganda who graduated with a finance-related degree but faced challenges in securing employment. To leverage his education, he opened a mobile money service and continuously expanded it by adding various services from a variety of providers. To add to this, he also has a retail shop where he has employed some staff to support its everyday activities. He prides himself on his client relationships, often going above and beyond to assist them even after they've been onboarded. Many of his clients consider him their first point of contact for any challenges they encounter.

Customer service is something that Patrick is passionate about, it was never taught to him in any trainings despite having attended two session from two different DFS providers.
