Yudha’s Story
Yudha is a 35 year old mom & pop store owner who lives with a disability in Makassar, South Sulawesi. He lives with his son and his mother who help him run his shop.
He has a bank account that was opened through a government program for people with disabilities, but he rarely uses it due to infrequent transfers and concerns about the monthly fee.
Instead, he saves money in a teapot used as a piggy bank at home, though he fears he might spend it knowing it's there.
He is interested in using a digital wallet suggested by his friend to save money, as it doesn't have the monthly fee of IDR 10k like his bank account. He wants to use the digital wallet to save money for his only son, who will soon enter kindergarten.
"I'd like (to use Digital Wallet) to save money as they won't deduct anything. Unlike my bank who deducts IDR 10,000 every month." - Yudha
Despite his interest, he still doesn't know how to use the digital wallet, including how to do cash-in and cash-out transactions, and relies on his friend's information.
