Rabeya’s Story
Rabeya is a 24 year old teacher who works at a private university and uses a smartphone to manage her finances with a bKash account. She receives her salary through her Bank account, but withdrawing cash from ATMs had become inconvenient for her. After hearing from colleagues and friends that a DFS account would allow her to withdraw money more easily from any agent point, she decided to register for one.
Based on what she had seen on social media, Rabeya was confident in her ability to handle the self onboarding process and chose to set up the account herself. She downloaded the app from the Play Store and followed the on-screen instructions. She successfully entered her mobile number, NID number, and other necessary details. However, when she reached the step to enter a security code, the expected message with the code never arrived. After waiting for 10 minutes with no response, she decided to return to the home screen and try again later.
Unfortunately, Rabeya was unable to complete the registration on her first attempt. She then contacted customer care for assistance, who advised her to visit the nearest customer service point to resolve the issue.
