Edu’s Story

Edu is a 28 year old brick maker from Uganda who lives alone. He mainly transacts via mobile money and fintech apps. He keeps up-to-date with the happenings in fintech and looks to optimise his use of the services. He recently onboarded onto a new DFS service to avoid withdrawal chargers.

Edu lives in a large community where he is well-regarded for his kindness and technical know-how. He is often called upon to help others troubleshoot issues with their phones and mobile money services. Having invested time in learning about common issues, Edu frequently provides hands-on assistance to his neighbours when they encounter challenges.

In addition to helping others troubleshoot, Edu has played a key role in onboarding many community members to DFS platforms. Before introducing a new service to the community, he thoroughly researches it to ensure its benefits. His proactive approach has made him a trusted source of support for many.
