Katerega’s Story

Katerega, is a 29-year-old man from Kampala, Uganda, living with a disability. He uses DFS to transact in his day to day life and recieve money from his relatives.

As a man living with disabilities, Katerega finds it challenging to access agent points to use DFS. In fact when getting onboarded onto DFS, Katerega had to enlist the help of someone to escort and support him to the agent station where he could register for a sim and DFS.

While such instances can be inconvenient, Katerega is determined to use DFS as he knows that it serves as bridge to him getting money.
